Overview

Mechpart manufactures custom gears and shafts for demanding power-transmission applications — spur, helical, bevel and worm gears, splines, racks and precision shafts. With in-house hobbing, shaping and profile grinding we hold AGMA 10–12 / DIN 5–7 quality for quiet, high-load running.

Integrated carburizing, induction hardening and nitriding deliver the wear resistance gearboxes, robotics and automotive drivetrains demand, while full gear-analyzer inspection (profile, lead, pitch, runout) documents every batch. We also reverse-engineer and reproduce obsolete gears from samples or worn parts.

Frequently asked

What gear quality can you achieve?

Up to AGMA 12 / DIN 5 with profile grinding; AGMA 8–10 as-hobbed.

Can you reverse-engineer an existing gear?

Yes — we measure tooth geometry and reproduce gears from samples or worn parts.

Do you harden and balance shafts?

Yes — induction/through-hardening plus dynamic balancing on request.

What lead time for custom gears?

Typically 2–4 weeks depending on grinding and heat-treat requirements.

★★★★★

Precision ground, quiet running

Helical gears for our gearbox came in at AGMA class 10. Hardness and profile both verified. Excellent work.
